Curriculum vitae – Dr. Dimitrios Kanellos PhD

Dr. Dimitrios Kanellos was born in Berlin and grew up there. Dr. D. Kanellos studied at the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He graduated with degree Excellent (8.7 / 10).

He specialized in surgery as a Resident in Surgery in Germany from 2005 to 2011. Specifically, from 2005 to 2008 he specialized at the Department of Surgery and Center of Laparoscopic Surgery, Colorectal Surgery and Proctology of the Siloah Hospital in Hanover and from 2008 to 2011 at the Department of Surgery and Center of Laparoscopic Surgery, Obesity Surgery and Hernia Center of the Vivantes Spandau Hospital in Berlin. In 2011 Dr. D. Kanellos received from the Medical Association in Berlin the title of Surgeon.

In 2011 he worked for one year as a Specialist Surgeon (Consultant) at Vivantes Klinikum Spandau in Berlin.

In 2009 he completed his PhD in Surgery and received the title of Doctor of Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has also performed several publications in international medical journals and presentations in international conferences.

Since 2012 he works in Thessaloniki as a Surgeon (Laparoscopic Surgery & Proctology) at the Interbalkan Medical Center and Saint Luke’s Hospital.
